Paris Saint-Germain's Presnel Kimpembe: Latest Update on his Injured Status

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender Presnel Kimpembe has been sidelined with an injury for several weeks, and the latest update on his recovery is that he will miss the rest of the season.

The French international sustained a thigh injury in PSG's match against Lens earlier this month and underwent surgery to repair the damage. While the club had initially hoped that Kimpembe would be able to return to action in time for the end of the season, it seems unlikely that will happen.

In the meantime, PSG have signed a replacement for Kimpembe, signing Brazilian defender Thiago Silva from Chelsea. The 35-year-old has experience playing at both centre-back positions,Football Instant Report which could provide some added depth to PSG's defence.

Despite the setback, PSG are still in contention for the Ligue 1 title and are currently third in the table. However, their focus now is on ensuring that Kimpembe recovers as quickly as possible so that they can get back to winning ways.

Kimpembe has been one of PSG's standout performers this season, having made over 20 appearances for the club. His injury comes at a crucial time for PSG, who will need all of their players fit and ready to go if they want to challenge for major honours this season.
