Shenhua, the Chinese football club based in Shanghai, has defended their former player Kim Shin-wook for his contribution to the team over the years.
Kim joined Shenhua from South Korea's FC Seoul in 2015 and made a significant impact on the club's performance during his time there. He scored 47 goals in 98 games for Shenhua, helping the team win the China League One title in 2016 and the Chinese Super League title in 2018.
